Care and Support

Care and Support is an area of operation focused on providing safe and secure care to our citizens. We work with elderly care, short-term care, disabilities, social psychiatry, and rehabilitation.

Our main task is to offer care for our citizens at different stages of life. Needs may vary depending on the type of support a citizen requires, but our approach is that everyone should have the same conditions for safe and secure care. It is important for us that those receiving care feel secure and have the opportunity to influence and have a say in their daily lives.

We are currently seeking a nurse who wants to be part of our dedicated night team, which currently consists of three experienced and supportive nurses. Here you will have the opportunity to work independently, while also being part of a safe and competent group where collaboration is an obvious part of everyday life.

You will be part of a larger workgroup with about 24 colleagues – nurses, district nurses, Sylvia nurses, and nursing assistants – distributed across three locations within the municipality. Despite the distance, we value a strong team spirit and good communication.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a newcomer with us, you will receive a thorough introduction from an experienced colleague to ensure you feel secure in your role and in the work within the municipality's health and medical care.

In the municipality, we work with home care within special housing, LSS, and ordinary housing. As a nurse with us, you will, among other things:

• Lead the medical work and make independent assessments of nursing interventions.
• Guide, delegate, and teach nursing staff in health and medical care interventions.
• Identify and prevent risks in care and actively work in our quality registers.
• Plan your working hours by creating a preferred schedule in TimeCare.

You will be an important part of the work to ensure safe and secure care for our patients, regardless of their living arrangements.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Licensed nurse or district nurse, preferably with further education in open health and medical care, elderly care, or dementia care.
• You have a good approach, are professional in your role, and find it easy to collaborate, while also having a good ability to work independently.
• Good computer skills are a requirement, and it is advantageous if you have experience with the operational system LifeCare and quality registers such as Senior Alert, Palliative Register, or similar.
• Personal suitability will be of great importance in the selection process.
• A B driver's license and access to a personal vehicle when needed are required for the position.
