Are you looking for a fun and educational summer job? We are looking for someone to work as a café assistant at Café Mariagården during the summer of 2026! With us, you will meet guests, bake, prepare simple dishes, and even take our food truck on adventures.

About the Job

We are looking for two café assistants who want to help make Café Mariagården an even better place for community and taste experiences during the summer of 2026. With us, you will work on everything from baking cookies to preparing simple dishes like waffles, salads, and savory pies. You will greet guests, serve food and drinks, clean our premises and our lovely courtyard, and ensure that everyone feels welcome. One day, you will prepare treats for the café's guests, the next day you will set up for a memorial service or pack the food truck full of freshly baked goods and head out to an event. Regardless of the task, you are an important part of the team.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in cooking and baking and a passion for providing excellent service. You have an eye for detail and are meticulous in your work. As a person, you are proactive and self-driven, while also enjoying collaboration and creating a pleasant atmosphere for both guests and colleagues. You are organized and can easily solve problems when needed. Your social skills and engagement allow you to meet guests and colleagues with warmth and care.

Requirements

• 18 years old
• Driver's license

Meritorious

• High school education in restaurant and food, with a focus on bakery and pastry or kitchen and service
• Experience working in a café, bakery, pastry shop, or cooking

Information

We are looking for two summer employees with a workload of between 50–80%.

The positions involve work during the summer with the following approximate scope:

• Period 26–32: about 7 weeks with an average of 50% workload
• Period 28–32: about 5 weeks with an average of 80% workload
