Our short decision-making paths give you a great opportunity to influence your work.

We are now looking for someone who wants to be part of our team, where you will have the opportunity to develop, share knowledge, and make a difference – both for individuals and society at large.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone interested in neurology who enjoys working in a team with other colleagues. As a social worker, you will meet both the patient and their relatives for therapeutic work. The social worker's mission primarily involves providing counseling and support conversations related to the neurological disease, as well as practical support and guidance regarding authority matters. The social worker also offers family conversations if needed. Much of the work takes place in the patient's home, but appointments and video visits occur regularly. A large part of the work is done in teams, but independent work also occurs. We seek someone interested in neurology who enjoys working in the patient's home. The neuro teams receive patients mainly through referrals from other healthcare providers. The patient groups you will encounter include, for example, Stroke, Parkinson's, MS, ALS, and brain tumors from the age of 18 and up. In the team, you will work closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, and, if necessary, dietitians. You will also have close collaboration with our other three social workers in other neuro team units. Together with them, you will receive regular supervision.

Qualifications

You should be a trained social worker with experience working as a social worker in healthcare, focused on neurological diseases and their consequences. You have experience working in teams with other professional categories and collaborating with other authorities. Strongly meritorious is if you have further trained as a licensed healthcare social worker.

Personal Qualities

  • You have a good ability to prioritize.
  • You are attentive to both patients and colleagues.
  • You enjoy working cross-professionally.
  • You have good collaboration skills and are used to cooperating with authorities.
  • You are structured and want to be involved in the development of our operations.
  • You find it stimulating to work in the patient's home environment.
  • You are interested in conveying the specific competencies of the social worker and sharing your knowledge with colleagues.
  • You thrive in a large workplace with many colleagues.

In this recruitment process, great importance is placed on personal suitability, where qualities such as initiative, social competence, and the ability to structure work are significant.

Our operations are characterized by continuous method development, where everyone is involved and responsible for the organization's goals, development, and results. Our short decision-making paths give you a great opportunity to influence your work. You are open to changes and new conditions in an environment where long-term thinking and quality are key principles.

Additional Information

  • Good opportunities for professional development.
  • Close collaboration with other social worker colleagues.
  • Great opportunities to influence your working hours.
  • A generous flex-time agreement.
  • A portable computer allows for a high degree of flexibility in work.
  • Free healthcare/free medications up to the high-cost threshold.
  • A generous wellness allowance of 5000 SEK/year.
  • We are affiliated with Vårdföretagarna and have a collective agreement.
