About the role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the entire sales process. You are driven by developing your customers and achieving your financial goals. You will primarily work with existing customers and engage in proactive sales towards companies, from prospecting, booking meetings to physical meetings and contracting. While you have significant personal responsibility, you are part of a team where we help and support each other. We believe in sharing knowledge, celebrating successes together, and solving challenges collectively.

Your main responsibilities include

  • Conducting sales against specified sales targets.
  • Developing Bonnier News' business across all channels, with a focus on digital.
  • Participating in and driving marketing activities.
  • Building long-term customer relationships with existing clients.
  • Prospecting and developing potential business opportunities and finding new customers.
  • Independently planning, booking, and conducting your own customer meetings primarily in GGVV municipalities, Höglandet, and parts of Kronoberg.
  • Continuously working in CRM tools.

Who are you?

You are a person with strong drive and high energy who is social, outgoing, and enjoys making new contacts. You appreciate competition and are driven by high goals while taking initiative and thriving in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on sales. You have a digital focus and a keen interest in everything related to the digital world.

Qualifications:

  • You are accustomed to being responsible for timelines, budgets, and leading customer meetings.
  • We prefer that you have good relationships with the business community.
  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales or a similar role with good results.
  • You are used to working in a structured and independent manner throughout the sales process based on given frameworks and regulations, as well as having your own budget responsibility.
  • You have good knowledge of planning and implementing marketing plans/strategies.
  • You are comfortable having meetings with clients and also being in the spotlight at events.
  • You have a B driver's license and access to your own car.

Additional information

The position is a permanent employment starting with a 6-month probation period.

You will belong to Bonnier News Sales Värnamo/Höglandet. You report to Hans Thomson, Sales Manager, and together we sit in newly renovated fresh offices in Värnamo, with the possibility of also starting from another location in the region.
