Our client is a global defense and security company operating in aerospace, land, and maritime defense, civil security, and commercial aviation technology. Technically, they are leaders in many areas, and one-fifth of their revenue goes to research and development. In the role of operational purchaser, you will have operational purchasing responsibility where your areas of responsibility include ensuring the delivery of materials to planned needs in production.

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Purchasing spare parts, repairs, and services based on planned needs
• Placing orders and monitoring delivery
• Contacting various suppliers
• Obtaining cost estimates and reviewing cost analyses from suppliers

• Have previous experience in purchasing, or you have a relevant post-secondary education in, for example, industrial economics or mechanical engineering
• Have good knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel
• Have a good general technical understanding and a technical interest. Previous experience working in business systems is an advantage
• Have good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form, as both languages are used in daily work

This position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.

This is a consultancy assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.
