About Läkarvägen

Läkarvägen is a newly built, modern group home with 6 places in a quiet area on the outskirts of Säter. At Läkarvägen, there is a lake view, and nature and hiking trails are just around the corner. The facility is located about 1.7 km from the center of Säter. A couple of hundred meters from the facility is the nearest bus stop.

At Läkarvägen, there are about 20 employees in all forms of employment. Our employees have experience and knowledge to work with the target group. They have relevant education in social care, such as nursing programs, KY education in social care, or social work education.

At Läkarvägen, we work with operationally close leadership. We have a group manager who works during the day as well as an operational manager distributed over two homes in Dalarna.

About the role

In the role of housing support worker at Läkarvägen, you start from the residents' individual needs and wishes and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you work towards the goal of making the day meaningful and content-rich. You support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled from 07:30 - 21:45, weekdays and weekends, as well as shifts with sleeping on-call (07:30 - 08:00 the following day). Awake night shifts are from 21:00-08:30.

During the awake night, your task includes watching over a resident in their apartment and being available when needs arise during the night.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working both day and night shifts.

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in care and nursing or another equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and the opportunity to grow.

You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues and always have our users' best interests at heart in everything you do.
