Welcome to Norrviken Health Center!

We know our patients well and there is a very cozy and family-like atmosphere here, and we are looking for another family member as one of our colleagues is going on parental leave!

Our wonderful and very family-oriented health center is located in northern Sollentuna, right next to Norrviken train station and a lovely residential area.

At the health center, we are a team of about 22 employees, with extensive knowledge and many with long primary care experience. Our workgroup consists of a composition of different professions: doctors, district nurses, reception nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, and medical secretaries who all complement our fantastic team! We are a close-knit team with low staff turnover and a high ceiling! Here, seriousness mixes with light-heartedness.

We offer residents and our patients good care at a high medical level with a focus on patient safety and quality. We are responsible for about 8000 registered patients. We conduct doctor consultations, nurse/district nurse consultations, home care, asthma/COPD consultations, diabetes nursing, and medical foot care. We also have a well-staffed psychology clinic.

Modern healthcare requires us to collaborate as a well-functioning team to ensure good patient safety. We place great emphasis on teamwork because we know that the quality of care increases through team-based management where different professional categories collaborate. The team around the patient should together create high accessibility, early detection of mental health issues, and offer patients support for self-care, assessment, treatment, and follow-up. Job Responsibilities

The work involves all tasks associated with a licensed doctor at a health center.

As a licensed doctor in primary care, you will meet patients of all ages and from different cultures for both planned and unplanned visits, digital care, and administration. Patients have a variety of diseases and problems. The work requires broad competence and independence. You work independently, but the work is done in close collaboration with other doctors, nurses, and several other professionals in healthcare.

With us, you will receive a quality-reviewed introduction and continuous guidance from experienced specialists in general medicine.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed doctor. Experience and work from primary care and Swedish healthcare are advantageous. Knowledge of the medical record system Take Care and good computer skills are required.

Employment Form

Special fixed-term employment. Full-time 100%. Working hours Monday-Friday. Start date May or June-26.

  • background checks are applied before a decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
