About Us

Järfälla Rehab is part of Rehab Nordväst, offering primary care rehabilitation in the municipalities of Solna, Sundbyberg, Järfälla, Upplands Bro, and Märsta-Sigtuna under the management of Region Stockholm.

At our unit in Järfälla, 36 people work across home rehabilitation and outpatient services. We are located in pleasant premises at Jakobsberg Hospital, within walking distance from Jakobsberg Station, about 15 minutes from Stockholm Odenplan.

Your Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist with us, you will:

• Work with patients of all ages and varying diagnoses
• Work in both outpatient settings and in patients' homes
• Conduct assessments of, for example, activity ability, work capacity, and cognitive impairment
• Trial assistive devices and provide information to patients, relatives, and staff
• Rehabilitate hands
• Work both independently and in teams with other professionals
• Lead group treatments and individual interventions
• Supervise students

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed occupational therapist
• Driver's license (B)
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Desirable:

• Experience in hand rehabilitation
• Experience from primary care, home rehabilitation, or inpatient care
• Knowledge of the Take Care journal system and ordering portal
• Master's or postgraduate degree

Employment Form

Permanent employment, full-time 40h/week, daytime. A probationary period may apply.

Additional Information

Stockholm County's healthcare area (SLSO) applies health certificates and background checks before employment. Rules for piercings apply to prevent the spread of MRSA.
