Stockholm – our capital city with millions of dreams, expectations, and ambitions.
We work for everyone living here today and in the future. We are now looking for you who want to think big, new, and differently with us – for the people of Stockholm.
Welcome to us
Bergsund's care and nursing home has 123 apartments, 16 places for people with dementia diagnosis, and 107 places for somatic care.
Bergsund's care and nursing home belongs to the Södermalm district administration and is operated in-house.
We work in interdisciplinary teams to ensure that residents have the best possible conditions for good care and quality of life. The Södermalm district invests in elderly care, among other things, through its own development unit, with competencies such as dietitian, care educator, curator, MAS, MAR, and business developers for health and medical care who help us drive projects and development forward together with the team at Bergsund.
We offer
There are good wellness opportunities where the administration has an active wellness program, with wellness grants and the possibility to purchase very affordable annual passes to Stockholm's municipal swimming pools including gyms. We also offer the possibility of vacation exchange.
Your role
We are looking for you who are confident in your work role and want to help develop elderly care.
You will be part of the health and medical care team around the resident. Your tasks include assessing, planning, executing, preventing, evaluating, and documenting health and medical care interventions based on your professional role. You will work with assessments regarding, for example, transfers and fall risks, prescriptions, and control of aids.
You will work based on a salutogenic approach. The interventions are planned in consultation with each individual resident and based on their conditions and needs. We document in the journal system Vodok.
You collaborate with colleagues, doctors, and other internal and external contacts to ensure good care.
You include, collaborate, and guide the nursing staff. You will also have contact with relatives.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for you who:
- are a licensed physiotherapist
- have at least 3-5 years of experience in the profession, preferably in elderly care and geriatrics.
- have good computer skills
- master the Swedish language in both spoken and written form
We consider it an advantage:
- if you have experience with the journal system Vodok.
Since collaboration and communication with several different actors are part of your tasks, it is necessary to have very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You are confident in your professional role, have the competence and ability to make independent decisions. You are meticulous and organized in your work. You are a role model and inspire in daily work. You should feel comfortable guiding nursing staff. We are looking for you who have a good sense of quality. You participate in the organization's improvement work and are not averse to extended collaboration within our special accommodations. You meet people with respect, have a positive attitude and good ability to collaborate, are clear in your communication, and want to promote a good work environment.
Warmly welcome with your application!
