The Eastern Rural Home Care is growing, and we are therefore looking for new colleagues who want to grow with us.

Are you a trained nursing assistant?

Do you want to be part of a competent team that is passionate about doing the best for its clients? Do you enjoy driving, working independently, and performing health and medical services? Then you might be exactly who we are looking for to fill the position of nursing assistant in Eastern Rural Home Care!

Eastern Rural Home Care is a municipal service that provides home care in areas such as Almunge, Knutby, and Rasbo. The workplace is characterized by strong collaboration among colleagues and an independent workgroup with extensive experience. Here, nursing assistants and caregivers work together with licensed personnel and administration. We operate from our premises in Länna Bruk, just outside Uppsala.

Due to the long distances between our clients, we perform a larger share of health and medical services than many other home care services, and since the work takes place in rural areas, you need to feel comfortable driving in all weather conditions and on narrow roads.

Job Description

We work based on assistance decisions to provide our elderly clients in rural areas with safe and good care. As a nursing assistant with us, you have a central role with varied tasks. You meet clients in their daily lives and provide personal care and services that make a real difference. The work is always based on the individual needs of the clients.

You will also be responsible for tasks delegated by licensed personnel and document according to the Social Services Act. Since much of the work is independent, good planning and time management skills are required.

We offer a work schedule with both day and evening shifts, and everyone in the team works every other weekend. With us, you will be part of a close-knit team that collaborates closely with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists to ensure that our clients receive safe, individualized, and high-quality care.

We value collaboration and would like you, together with us, to contribute to developing both the organization and yourself in a close and supportive team.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with experience working with the elderly in home care or similar services. To succeed in this role, you need experience performing health and medical services under the delegation of health personnel. You should have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as experience with documentation and computer use. Since we work in rural areas, you need to have a valid driver's license and feel comfortable driving in all weather conditions. Previous experience mentoring students or new hires is a plus.

As a person, you are flexible and adapt quickly to changes. You collaborate well with others by listening, communicating, and resolving conflicts constructively. Additionally, you are able to meet people calmly and accommodatingly, with a willingness and ability to help and find solutions. The job suits you if you can plan and prioritize effectively and meet deadlines.

Are you curious about the position? Please send a personal letter addressed to us, an updated CV, and your proof from the National Board of Health and Welfare showing that you have the nursing assistant title.
