JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Licensing Unit, with three alcohol administrators, is organized within the Social Administration of Kalmar Municipality. We are now expanding our unit with one more employee. You will work to promote responsible serving and selling of alcohol, tobacco, e-cigarettes, and over-the-counter medications. Collaboration and cooperation exist between the alcohol administrators of the municipalities in the county, and this is something we wish to further develop. Currently, there is a collaborative agreement between 5 municipalities: Borgholm, Högsby, Mönsterås, Mörbylånga, and Kalmar.

We have a stated ambition to continuously improve our operations. Therefore, we work in a process-oriented manner, and the demands for service and legal certainty in handling are high so that we can assist the entrepreneurs who want to conduct their business in Kalmar in every possible way.

QUALIFICATIONS

A degree from higher education with a focus deemed suitable by the employer and/or experience in the field is required. You are goal-oriented, meticulous, and service-minded. The work requires that you can work independently and that you have good collaboration skills as well as the ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing.

Driver's license B is required.

OTHER

Kalmar Municipality checks identity and work permits before anyone is hired. This means that you, as an applicant, need to show identification. If applicable, you may also need to present your residence and work permit.

As a permanent employee of Kalmar Municipality, you will be assigned to your workplace and are expected to contribute with your work during heightened preparedness.

Some positions within Kalmar Municipality are classified in security class, which means that a security review according to the Security Protection Act may be conducted before a hiring decision is made.
