About the Job
You will work with estate inventories, which involves everything from simpler administration such as registration of arrivals to processing cases, making assessments, and making decisions based on laws and regulations. The cases vary in scope and complexity and require accuracy and efficiency. It is a varied job with a lot of customer contact. You will request additional information from individuals and professional submitters via phone, email, and letters. Another important part of the job is to provide service to our customers by answering the questions we receive daily through our customer phone.
You will receive an introduction and a supervisor who will help you plan your work. You will then independently manage your cases and collaborate with others. The work involves handling different types of cases, and you will learn to gain new knowledge both broadly and in depth. We have flexible working hours, and it is a given for us that you should have a balance between work and leisure.
You belong to the People and Property Department and work in the Estate Inventory Operations. Your placement is in Kalmar. In our section, we are about 25 people.
About You
To do a good job and thrive with us at the Swedish Tax Agency, you need to be attentive, think innovatively, and take responsibility. Good judgment and understanding of legal security and safety are important in the work. In this job, you should:
- independently plan and drive your work forward to achieve results

- be goal-oriented and contribute to achieving the purpose of the operation
- be able to speak and write simply and clearly in both Swedish and English
- be able to analyze information flows, see connections, and make decisions.
You should also have:
- a current (at least 60 approved credits) or recently completed university education of at least 180 credits in law, social sciences, or behavioral science
- relevant work experience in meeting people from different backgrounds via phone and email, for example, from public service, agencies, insurance companies, or banks.
It is desirable that you have current and relevant work experience at the Swedish Tax Agency. It is also desirable to have approved university credits in family law.
Good to Know
The employment is temporary from June 8 to August 14.
In this job, due to the nature of the tasks, there is no possibility to work from home.

An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security assessment with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
