Quality Assurance Specialist at GE Healthcare

ABOUT THE POSITION

GEMS PET Systems is part of GE HealthCare and is a world leader in the manufacturing of cyclotrons for PET cameras which, with its unique technology, is used to detect cancer at an early stage. As a Quality Assurance Specialist at GEMS, you will have the chance to perform meaningful work that makes a difference in the fight against cancer.

In the role of Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be part of GEMS PETS quality organization. The function is responsible for the quality management system which includes document management, QMS training, inspections, risk management, deviation management, etc. The quality function supports the organization during product development and design changes. You will be welcomed into a smaller and independent team with broad and varied experience, where everyone supports each other. To make you feel secure and well-informed about all aspects of the work, you will be provided with a solid introduction.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

In the position of Quality Assurance Specialist, you will work with:

  • Deviations
  • Production changes
  • Introduction of new products
  • Design changes
  • Gap analysis of quality documents
  • Document management
  • QMS training

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a bachelor's degree in medical technology or equivalent
  • Has previous experience with ISO-13485 and ISO-9001
  • Has previous experience working with design changes, deviations, and inspections
  • Has very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as the work is conducted in both languages

It is meritorious for the position if you:

  • Have a master's degree in medical technology or equivalent
  • Have previous experience in risk, document, and case management
  • Have previous experience with CAPA
  • Have previous experience with GAP analysis
  • Have previous experience with Trackwise digital

To succeed in the role, you have the following personal qualities:
