About the Role

Are you ready for a new challenge and want to work on the development of process technology systems at Forsmark Nuclear Power Plant? Do you want to contribute to Sweden's fossil-free electricity supply?

Forsmarks Kraftgrupp is now looking for a development engineer in process technology who wants to help secure Sweden's long-term electricity supply. We are facing a growing need both now and in the future – this is your chance to make a difference!

As a development engineer, you will be an important part of our close-knit group of about 15 people. You will develop a broad process technology knowledge and work on improvements that strengthen Forsmark's facilities and contribute to sustainable, fossil-free production.

In this role, you will have a wide variety of tasks and collaborate closely with colleagues across several departments.

Your main responsibilities:

• Identify and implement renovations in the facilities' process technology systems based on requirements and design conditions.
• Act as technical support and conduct investigations for the operations and maintenance departments.
• Prepare technical documentation for operations and maintenance instructions.
• Work with technical procurement documentation and participate in supplier contacts.
• Share experiences and lessons learned to contribute to the development of the organization and colleagues.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in engineering or equivalent education with a focus on mechanical engineering, energy systems/energy technology, process chemistry, or other relevant experience.
• Fluent Swedish in both spoken and written form is required, as all internal communication is conducted in Swedish.
• Good knowledge of English for contact with suppliers and international colleagues.

Experience from the nuclear industry or process industry is an advantage.

You are solution-oriented and see opportunities in the challenges you face, while being proactive and goal-oriented. Location: Forsmark.

Buses to and from Forsmark are adapted to the working hours of day staff. We also offer work buses with wireless networks on the routes Gävle-Forsmark and Uppsala-Forsmark, allowing you to use travel time as work time if/when work permits. You also have the option to use our remote work locations in Gävle and Uppsala or work from home if/when work allows.
