Our clients appreciate our competence in the Life Science industry and entrust us with interesting assignments in method development, testing, verification, and process development.

As a Life Science Engineer with us, you will primarily focus on one or more of the following areas:

  • Process development
  • Method development
  • Testing and verification
  • Validation

Of course, this can also be expanded with other interesting areas. We are looking for employees in Uppsala, but regular commuting to Stockholm (or in the Mälardalen region) may occur.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a theoretical background combined with a strong interest in creative problem-solving. This may involve practical work with laboratory tasks or with instrument and production equipment.

We also see that you can tick off the following competencies/experiences:

  • You have a degree as a civil or university engineer in chemistry, biotechnology, or mechanical engineering (or equivalent relevant technical-scientific education).
  • You have at least 2 years of relevant industrial work experience in Life Science, e.g., in process development, method development, testing and verification of equipment/instruments, validation, organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, or biotechnology.
  • You have experience in laboratory and/or production environments.
  • Excellent knowledge of Swedish and fluent English, both written and spoken.

Desirable experiences:

  • You have experience with GMP and/or ISO.
  • SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Western Blot, PCR.
  • HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, GC, Spectroscopy, or other relevant methods.
  • Experience in organic synthesis.
  • QA/QC, testing and verification, method development or method validation.
  • Experience in process development, process validation, and protein purification.
  • Experience in regulated activities and accustomed to documenting results and other work according to procedures and regulations.
  • Driving license B.

To thrive in this role, you need to be driven, self-sufficient, and have an easy time communicating with others. You have the ability to collaborate and work in project form. You are structured, analytical, and able to consider the whole without losing focus on delivery. You appreciate variation in tasks, and adapting to change comes naturally to you.

Last but not least, you value teamwork highly, just like we do!
