Layher -The world's leading partner in scaffolding systems is looking for a relationship-building, technology-interested, and business-driven salesperson for the South region.

Layher sells and markets scaffolding systems, weather protection, as well as stages and grandstands in Sweden. The company is part of the family-owned Layher Group, which has sales companies in 45 countries and 2,700 employees. Product development and manufacturing take place in its own factories in Germany. Layher's products are primarily used in construction and civil engineering, process industries, and at events.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a District Sales Representative at Layher, you will be responsible for sales and customer development within a well-established district in Skåne and surrounding areas. The role is characterized by a long-term approach where relationships, trust, safety, and quality are at the center.

Your customers are within scaffolding contracting, industry, construction, equipment rental, and events. You will be responsible for a district with several existing customers while proactively working to develop new collaborations throughout the district.

The role is independent and mobile, with significant presence at customer sites. A typical week includes regular customer visits to job sites, needs analysis, consulting, and follow-up on business. Quotation work, technical reviews, product demonstrations, and customer training are a natural part of daily life, as is collaboration with inside sales, technology, and logistics.

You will follow up on quotes, contracts, and deliveries and report sales results and market information to Sales Manager Torbjörn Lexander. You will represent Layher at trade fairs, customer events, and networking meetings. You will work from your home office, and travel within the district, customer events, and overnight stays are a natural part of the job.

WHO ARE YOU?

You are a confident and business-oriented B2B salesperson who thrives in an independent role with significant personal responsibility. You have a clear customer focus, work long-term, and see the value in being present, available, and reliable in customer relationships.

You are accustomed to planning and driving your sales work independently and have experience in proactive sales, quotation work, and business dialogues. You have a good understanding of the customer's business and finances and work systematically with follow-up in a CRM system.

We prefer that you have experience from the construction industry or related contracting or industrial environments, and that you thrive in contexts where safety, quality, and long-term thinking are central. You have a technical interest, are curious, and enjoy explaining, demonstrating, and training customers – often in practical environments at job sites.

You are relationship-building, analytical, and patient, with an understanding that activity and persistence yield results over time. You have a B driver's license, enjoy traveling for work, and preferably live centrally in the district, for example in Malmö and surrounding areas.
