About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Developer at Ticket, you will be a key person in our Frontend team. You will work closely with other product teams and developers to further develop Ticket's travel sales – by building new features and improving existing flows and systems related to our e-commerce platform.

You will step into an organization where decisions are made in and close to the teams. Our agile teams are self-sufficient and take great responsibility for how we plan, prioritize, and deliver – from idea to production. Here you will find many experienced colleagues (many with 10–20 years in the industry) and a culture where we both learn from each other and are happy to share.

The teams largely work with open source and also manage the platform themselves. Primarily, Ticket works with Vue.js, Java, Spring Boot, Postgres, RabbitMQ, Magnolia CMS, microservices, and Kubernetes on AWS.

In this role, you will among other things:

  • drive and take ownership of frontend solutions that make a real difference in user experience and business

  • be involved from idea, requirements, and design choices to implementation and production

  • help the team tackle the most complex problems – by breaking down, structuring, and finding sustainable solutions

  • contribute with technical leadership in everyday life: improve the quality of the codebase, create consensus around working methods, and support other developers

  • drive the technical backlog together with the PO and ensure that important platform improvements are visible, prioritized, and executed.

  • participate in functional discussions with business owners and product – and help shape what we should build

The team chooses who does what, which provides good opportunities to influence direction, grow in responsibility, and also broaden towards fullstack for those who wish.

About You

You are an experienced frontend developer who is happy to take the lead when the team needs speed, direction, or structure. You combine technical sharpness with a pragmatic mindset and get things done.

We believe you have:

  • a degree in computer science/system science or equivalent – or significantly longer relevant experience

  • at least 5 years of professional experience in frontend development

  • very good knowledge of HTML, CSS, frontend frameworks, a11y, and JavaScript and experience building robust solutions in modern web environments

  • a keen interest in the entire stack (and would like to understand more than just “frontend”)

  • extra plus if you have experience with Vue, Java, and Spring

As a person, you are:

  • driven and communicative – you take initiative and get others on board

  • confident in discussing technical choices, quality, and structure (and can support others without getting stuck in prestige)

  • curious about new technologies and genuinely enjoy development

  • used to working agile and thrive when decisions are made quickly and close to the teams

  • see that AI has a natural place in development work and are used to working with Claude Code and similar tools

  • have good ability to understand Swedish in speech and writing
