Our team leader is changing tasks within the workgroup, and we need to recruit a new key person!

Your Tasks

As a team leader in the adult group, you take clear responsibility for leading, supporting, and developing the daily work in the workgroup together with the unit manager. In this role, you are a close leader who contributes to structure, quality, and a good working climate. You lead and distribute the work in the unit and act as a professional support in case handling and drive development work in line with the goals of the organization. With your commitment and experience, you create security in the assignment and conditions for employees to perform their tasks. You work to ensure that the unit achieves the new ambitions of the Social Services Act.

Your Profile

  • You are a trained social worker or hold another higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
  • You have good knowledge of authority exercise regarding harmful use and dependency, LSS/social psychiatry, violence in close relationships, and financial assistance.
  • If you have previous experience in leadership, it is an advantage.
  • As the tasks involve ongoing documentation, you must be able to handle digital work tools.
  • Experience with the operational system Lifecare is an advantage.
  • A valid driver's license (B) is required.

You possess leadership qualities and enjoy working independently as well as developing others towards set goals. To succeed in the position, you need to be a secure and stable person with good self-awareness - who can distinguish between the personal and the professional. You also need to be skilled at planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively and meeting set deadlines. Since the position involves working with people who may be in a difficult social and vulnerable situation, you are expected to show judgment in statements, actions, and decisions, as well as being accommodating in your interactions and having good collaboration skills.

About the Workplace

Within IFO Adult, we meet people who need assistance in various forms. In the workgroup, we are responsible for areas such as violence in close relationships, financial assistance, harmful use and dependency, and financial assistance. We place great emphasis on internal and external collaboration to provide the best possible support and help to our citizens.

The social sector is the largest of four sectors in Leksand municipality. The sector is responsible for the care of the elderly and people with disabilities, social psychiatry, health and medical care (HSR), individual and family care (IFO), open care, and authority exercise, and consists of about 550 permanent employees and 200 substitutes.
