Make a Difference. Every Day.

Are you driven by taking responsibility and want to build your skills in an environment where you meet a variety of patients and diagnoses within psychiatry, and where collaboration is a key word? Then this is where you should apply!

We are looking for a nurse who wants to be part of our resource team where we offer varied work and the opportunity to influence the work with participation and flexibility. The adult psychiatry area (VO) in Helsingborg has inpatient and outpatient care in Ängelholm, Helsingborg, and Landskrona. Our catchment area includes the ten municipalities in northwestern Skåne, with which we have a good collaboration through cooperation meetings and care planning.

The resource team is tasked with providing flexible staffing solutions to care units within the inpatient care area and the psychiatric emergency department during temporary needs. Such a need may arise due to absences, vacations, or the need for additional resources during a period.

With us, you can look forward to an exciting job where you will be part of the entire breadth of psychiatric services. You will meet individuals with varying psychiatric diagnoses in the units, primarily within inpatient care. This also means rewarding collaboration with different teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities include both somatic and psychiatric nursing tasks that occur in a care department, as well as leading the daily work in close collaboration with colleagues. Other tasks include monitoring health status, assessing care needs, and support conversations. Also included in your work are counseling, medication management, and documentation. You work for high patient safety through collaboration with both colleagues and patients.

The working hours are scheduled and are allocated during day and evening hours on weekdays and weekends. The position is intended to be a permanent employment, but we are also flexible with varying employment conditions such as part-time, hourly employment, or fixed-term employment.

Benefits of working in the Resource Team include:

  • Working with different diagnoses and units
  • The same security and benefits as other employees in Region Skåne
  • Learning a little about a lot and being a specialized generalist
  • The excitement of having variation in work where one day is not like the other
  • Good development opportunities
  • Salary supplements.

We value your skills and consider your needs during introduction, shadowing, and training. For us, competence development is important, which is why you as a newly graduated nurse are offered an introductory program that includes lectures, clinical skills training, and access to a mentor. If you want to specialize, you are offered, in addition to educational benefits in prioritized areas, a number of searchable educational positions where education is combined with clinical work for two years.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare and have an interest in psychiatric care. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s level scale are a requirement. Specialist training in psychiatry is an advantage, as is work experience from psychiatric care and/or experience working in inpatient care.

To thrive in this position, you need to be able to collaborate and be flexible. The ability to collaborate is important as you are part of different teams in the departments while maintaining your professionalism in your interactions with both patients and colleagues. Furthermore, you contribute with engagement, good communication, and a positive attitude towards the different departments. We value that you as a person are versatile, proactive, creative, and have a genuine interest in psychiatry. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to remain calm and act professionally even in pressured situations.

For us, it is important that you, just like us, have a good ethical approach and are willing to participate in development and improvement work. Additionally, you are structured and can quickly adapt to changing circumstances. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

A background check will be conducted before any employment.

In this recruitment, we apply continuous selection. We warmly welcome your application today; we look forward to getting to know you!
