Business Analyst at the Financial Supervisory Authority
Do you want to help develop the Financial Supervisory Authority's (FI) data collections and contribute to essential societal functions? We are now looking for a business analyst who wants to work at the intersection of business and IT with a focus on data, analysis, and development.
About the Job
As a business analyst in the Development department, Data Innovation unit, you will work in a cross-functional data team responsible for developing and enabling analysis and collection of data from internal and external sources. You will work closely with other data teams and have ongoing collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining modules in FI's platform for financial reporting and data collection. You will contribute to value-creating improvements in data collections and work with troubleshooting and support, for example in SQL databases and within data collection modules. The work also includes developing data quality controls and maintaining data collection schemas using Python and JSON. A key part of the role is documenting development work and communicating and presenting results and solutions to internal and external stakeholders and requirement owners.
The work is largely conducted based on an agile working method, and the role involves many contact points and varied assignments.
Your Education and Experience
We are looking for someone who:
- has an academic background in IT, computer science, or equivalent
- has several years of experience working as a business analyst
- has good knowledge of Python
- has knowledge of SQL
- expresses themselves well in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you have:
- experience with agile working methods, such as Scrum
- knowledge of data modeling
- experience with CI/CD pipelines
- experience with GitLab
- experience with technical schema standards for financial reporting, such as JSON, XML
- worked with requirements management
- experience working with financial data.
