Norrbotten Air Force Wing is now seeking a personnel officer as the current holder of the position is leaving for new challenges within the unit. The position is located within the HR department which belongs to the wing's staff. The department supports the wing and its leaders in personnel matters such as salary formation, competence supply, recruitment, and working environment.

About the position

In the role of personnel officer, you will primarily work with recruitment and training issues based on the wing's short- and long-term needs. The work involves driving and developing these areas with the aim of increasing the number of applicants for continued engagement at F 21. You will have close cooperation with the operations at the wing as well as regional and central partners within the authority.

Main tasks

  • Coordinate information and recruitment to OP/SOU/ROU/RSOU/SOFU and GSS K/T, which includes:
    • Consolidating student orders against SOU, ROU, RSOU, and OP.
    • Supporting A5 with needs and requirements setting for conscripts.
    • Developing methods and conducting activities for YO recruitment.
    • Being the coordinator for tests prior to admission.
    • Responsible for visits and relationship management of students from the unit to respective school/centers.
    • Acting as the contact person for FV KOF regarding training issues related to GOU and OP.
  • Support the personnel manager with wartime placement work as well as exercise operations and mobilization planning.
  • Reserve officer administrator and contact person for MHS Halmstad.

Qualifications

  • Specialist officer (SO 6/7)
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing
  • Good knowledge of the Office package
  • Driver's license B

Norrbotten Air Force Wing, F 21, is Sweden's northernmost air wing. The main base is in Luleå, with side bases in Jokkmokk and Vidsel. F 21 continuously trains to deliver the following air operational capabilities in peace, crisis, and war:

  • Control of the airspace.
  • Land and sea target combat.
  • Intelligence gathering.
  • Airborne transport.
  • Support to other combat forces, total defense, and society at large.
