Intelligence Assistant at the Swedish Armed Forces Helicopter Squadron
Are you interested in a varied position at the Swedish Armed Forces' northernmost helicopter squadron? There is now a place for you – the 1st Helicopter Squadron, Intelligence and Security Section (S2) is recruiting two intelligence assistants.
About the Position
The 1st Helicopter Squadron is based in Luleå and has the primary task of conducting ground operational activities with helicopters. The squadron is the northernmost combat unit of the helicopter wing, responsible for the wing's development in winter environments. The Intelligence and Security Section is part of the staff and consists of both civilian and military personnel. As a GSS/K, you will contribute current information to the squadron's intelligence and situational awareness, as well as support tasks related to security service.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of routines and methodological issues related to intelligence service
- Support the planning of flight missions
- Assist in the production of intelligence briefings, reports, and forecasts
- Help solve administrative tasks within the section's and staff's area of responsibility
- Conduct structured intelligence processing
- Support the unit within security service
Qualifications
Requirements
- At least a high school diploma
- Completed military service or basic military training with approved grades
- Meets the FM FysS basic requirements
- User skills in MS Office
- Express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish and English
- Driver's license B
Meritorious
- Experience working in intelligence/security functions within the armed forces
- Good ability to visualize information

You are flexible and creative and can work independently within the framework of assigned responsibilities. You are meticulous and have a good ability to perform even under pressure. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment (GSS/K). Initially six years with the possibility of extension. The Swedish Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not employed by the authority.
Employment rate: Full-time
Work location: Luleå. Travel within the service may occur.
Salary: Individual salary setting according to the Swedish Armed Forces' conditions
Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement
