Logistics Soldiers with Fuel Focus for 1st Helicopter Squadron

There is now a position available for you at the 1st Helicopter Squadron, Base Company, which is recruiting two logistics soldiers with a focus on fuel.

About the Position

The 1st Helicopter Squadron is based in Luleå and has the primary task of conducting ground operational activities with the Helicopter 14 system. The squadron is in a growth phase and has begun to build its own helicopter base capability, of which this position is a part. As a logistics soldier focused on fuel services, you will play an important role in the helicopter units' capabilities. Since the position is located at the newly formed Base Company, the tasks may vary greatly depending on the pace of development, personnel, and material growth. This also offers a great opportunity for you to develop your skills in the areas that the Base Company will establish.

Main Responsibilities:

• Support the squadron with refueling both aircraft and ground vehicles.
• Transport materials, establish and maintain refueling stations
• Assist in the training of conscripts
• Collaborate and participate with other parts of the squadron

Qualifications

Requirements

• High school diploma
• Approved military service or basic military training (GMU)
• Good physical fitness
• Driver's license with at least category B (manual transmission)

Meritorious

• Military driver's license for heavy truck, heavy trailer, ADR certification
• Forklift license
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Previous experience with aviation fuel services
• Experience in maintenance services
• Group leader training
• Served as GSS/K
• Previously employed by the Armed Forces
• Knowledge of Excel, Word, PRIO (SAP)
• Experience in logistics services

Personal Attributes

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills who can work both independently and in a team. You are meticulous and safety-conscious. The varying tasks require you to be flexible and open to other areas of work beyond your original area of expertise. You also take responsibility for your physical and mental health, as good physical fitness is a requirement for the position and military placement. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Other Information

Employment Type: Fixed-term employment (GSS/K). Initially six years with the possibility of extension. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not currently employed by the authority.

Employment Rate: Full-time

Work Location: Luleå. Travel within the position may occur.

Salary: Individual salary setting according to the Armed Forces' terms
