Guard Platoon

The Guard Platoon at K 4 works daily with the protection and surveillance of protected objects and valuable activities within the Arvidsjaur garrison. The garrison is under constant development and expansion, which also applies to the guard platoon. The platoon is under the K 4 security department (G2) and maintains public order and safety within the garrison. The platoon is also responsible for guarding and responding to the Armed Forces' valuable objects and activities.

As a guard soldier, your working hours are arranged on a daily basis, which provides good conditions even for those who do not reside in Arvidsjaur.

Employment at the guard platoon at K 4 in Arvidsjaur is currently valid until 2027-01-01, after which parts of the service may take place at another location. From the turn of the year 2028, you may be offered another position as GSS/K.

Main Responsibilities

• Staff the guard center in Arvidsjaur
• Be part of the Readiness Response Force (IBSS)
• Conduct access control checks
• Monitor alarms, access systems, and CCTV
• Conduct responses to the Armed Forces' valuable objects

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Completed military service/military basic training with a passing result or ongoing military service with a prognosis of at least JA-2-2
• Approved security guard training
• Driver's license at least class B (manual transmission)
• Good physical condition (physical tests will be conducted)

Other

Employment type: The employment is a fixed-term position as GSS/K. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not or have not previously been employed by the authority.

Employment rate: Full-time (full-time measure 35h/week) with day, night, and weekend shifts as well as on-call duty.
