In Karlskrona, our ambitions are high, and we are passionate about developing the modern city by the sea. We are now looking for you who want to make a difference. Welcome to Blekinge's largest employer, where your opportunities for development are great.
Kestorp is a short-term facility for children and adolescents where the focus is on safety, structure, and support tailored to each individual. Currently, two young people are with us, and their needs primarily revolve around clear routines, predictability, and assistance in everyday situations.
The staff works from a low-arousal approach to create a calm environment and reduce the risk of challenging behaviors. The young people receive support through individually adapted visual materials and visual schedules that help them understand, prepare, and feel secure about the day's activities.
The environment is homely, warm, and peaceful, and we often work two staff members together to provide stability and good conditions in daily operations. Kestorp is a small, specialized unit where individual adaptation, clarity, and a safe atmosphere are always at the center.
Working hours include days, evenings, and weekends. Currently, there is no on-call duty for day staff, as a separate night group is responsible for the awake night – something that may change in the future.
