Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a treatment assistant for our unit Villa Fridhem, which caters to boys and girls aged 13 to 18. As a treatment assistant with us, you will be a resource for the operation in the work of supporting young people in their care and treatment.

Villa Fridhem is based on a milieu therapeutic approach. We also work from a salutogenic perspective, emphasizing the individual's sense of coherence. As a treatment assistant with us, you will be responsible for the young people's treatment, care, and leisure activities. The treatment of the young people is planned individually in the implementation plan in accordance with BBIC. You will be a contact person for one or more young people, where you are responsible for treatment work, follow-up, evaluation, and documentation. You will be available for the young people's need for conversations and work to create motivation for change and assist the youth in developing their ability to manage their emotions and difficulties. The purpose of the interventions is to compensate for the youth's difficulties and to develop their skills.

Qualifications

You should have at least two years of post-secondary education with a focus on social work or behavioral science. Experience in treatment work with young people is an advantage. The job places high demands on good reception, pedagogical approach, and structure. You should be able to observe, describe, and interpret the needs of the young people. Your tasks include statutory documentation of the work. We expect you to meet our young people with security, care, and respect. You find it easy to meet other people and build relationships while having the ability to handle stressful situations and the courage to set boundaries while being clear and consistent.

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of milieu therapy, Repulse, relapse prevention, low-arousal approach, HAP/CPU, MI, and/or CBT.

Permanent employment with an initial probationary period, full-time on a schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call duties.
