Our Employment Offer

Ward 92 is part of the Medical Specialties area. Our specialist competence is aimed at patients with gastrointestinal and liver diseases, but we also occasionally care for other internal medicine patients. Patients come to us mainly via the emergency department or our Gastro Clinic. Our workgroup consists of specialized doctors, nurses, and healthcare assistants. We also receive daily support from dietitians and physiotherapists. Monday to Friday, we have a coordinator for incoming calls on-site and a care coordinator who assists us with the social planning around the patient when needed.

Job Description

Your role as a healthcare assistant is extremely important. You are responsible for the patients' basic care and actively participate with your knowledge during rounds in dialogue with the rest of the team. You will work closely with a nurse, and together you will be responsible for four to six patients. The work includes medical technical tasks such as blood sampling, catheter insertion, NEWS, wound dressings, and EKG, etc. The work as a healthcare assistant with us is interesting and rewarding, and there are great opportunities for professional development. Qualifications

Nursing student from the fourth semester or medical student from the fifth semester, or alternatively trained healthcare assistant.
