Our mission is to provide urgent care for children and adults that cannot wait but do not require the resources of an emergency hospital. Our opening hours are 8 AM to 10 PM with access to X-ray every day of the year.

The clinic has a drop-in service where patients first meet a nurse for assessment. Each shift is staffed by a leading physician and a lead nurse who jointly manage and distribute the work at the clinic. SLSO operates urgent care centers at Danderyd Hospital, Haga, Handen, Huddinge Hospital, Järva, and Rosenlund.

Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize, assess, and care for patients with acute symptoms.
  • Sample collection and advice.

Qualifications:

We are looking for licensed nurses, preferably with specialist training in emergency care, pediatrics, primary health care, or ambulance services.

Experience in emergency care is an advantage.

Swedish C is a requirement.

The position will be filled provided that it is not needed for internal relocation, according to current regulations.

For patient-related work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area:

  • background checks will be applied before employment decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements are guiding for non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
