We are currently looking for passionate and responsible hourly summer substitutes for Humana Sjöstadsgården in Hammarby Sjöstad who want to help realize our vision – “Everyone has the right to a good life”.

Working hours: Schedule with varying working hours (day, evening, weekend, and night) during June–August.

Job description

As a nursing assistant at Humana Sjöstadsgården, you will have a varied and meaningful job focused on providing our residents with safe and individualized care and support. You work closely with the residents and support them in their daily lives through personal care, service efforts, and social support based on individual needs and implementation plans.

You are responsible for medication management according to delegation, document continuously in the operational system, and handle any deviations according to current routines. Together with your colleagues, you plan and distribute the daily work and collaborate with healthcare staff such as nurses, rehabilitation staff, and on-call nurses to ensure good and safe care.

Examples of tasks:

• Planning and executing daily tasks together with your colleagues.

• Receiving delegation of medication from the nurse

• Conducting fun activities

• Managing documents and deviations

Who are you?

We are looking for a team player – a responsible person who enjoys working both independently and in a group. You have the ability to see the big picture and are not afraid to take initiative. You are used to documentation and work with quality as a guiding principle. Experience in person-centered work is an advantage, and we believe it is important that you are a relationship builder with good collaboration skills and a positive outlook.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained nursing assistant or has equivalent work experience

• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience working in elderly care or home care

• Experience working with people with dementia

• Experience from operations run in the private sector

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden.
