The health and medical care team in Tyresö municipality works closely with the municipality's LSS housing and support housing within social psychiatry.

Our mission is to contribute to good health, increased independence, and improved quality of life for people with disabilities and mental health issues.

In the team, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists work in close collaboration. We always have the individual at the center and value a rehabilitative, person-centered, and relationship-based approach.

About the position

We are now looking for a licensed physiotherapist who wants to help develop the municipality's health and medical care within LSS and social psychiatry. The position is suitable for you who thrive in a varied everyday life, appreciate collaboration, and want to work long-term with the individual's health and function.

As a physiotherapist, you are responsible for:

• assessing, planning, implementing, and following up on physiotherapeutic interventions.
• working rehabilitatively and preventively based on the individual's conditions.
• documenting according to applicable laws and guidelines.

You work in close dialogue with the individual, relatives, housing staff, and support educators, and collaborate with external actors such as doctors and habilitation services (HAB). In many cases, you play an important role as a coordinating link between the individual, the organization, and the healthcare provider.

A central part of the assignment is to guide, educate, and support care staff on issues related to movement, transfer, physical activity, and rehabilitative approaches.

Building relationships is key in the work. You build trust over time and enjoy working closely with people in their daily lives. Here you have the opportunity to create continuity and long-term solutions.

You have great freedom to plan and structure your workday in consultation with the team and based on the individuals' needs. If you have a particular interest in health, movement, physical activity, or lifestyle issues, there are good opportunities to develop this within the framework of the assignment.

Who are you?

• You are a licensed physiotherapist.
• Have a B driver's license.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is meritorious if you have experience working within LSS, social psychiatry, or municipal health and medical care.
