We are looking for dedicated nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists with a genuine interest in elderly care to replace regular staffing during the summer period.

About the operations

We have three elderly care homes operated by the municipality. Johannas Trädgård is an elderly home in Täby Kyrkby with both somatic and dementia focus. Attundagården and Tibblehemmet are located in Täby center. Attundagården is an elderly home focused on dementia, while Tibblehemmet only has a somatic focus. Tibblehemmet also has a short-term care unit. At all three homes, we work in teams with nurses, care staff, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. Our elderly homes offer a safe and dignified living environment with professional care and warm attention.

About the job

Nurse:

As a nurse, you will perform standard nursing tasks in the elderly home such as wound dressing, documentation, and medication distribution. You should also feel comfortable mentoring care staff on the wards by being available and present.

The position involves day and evening shifts every day of the week.

Attundagården collaborates with doctors from Capio Legevisitten. Johannas Trädgård and Tibblehemmet collaborate with doctors from Familjeläkarna.

Physiotherapist:

The work is carried out in consultation with the patient and/or relatives. You will work based on the patient's health and life situation, individual wishes, needs, and conditions. Tasks may include testing various walking/mobility aids and following up on their optimal function for the patient, collaborating with doctors and other staff in the operation, as well as informing, instructing, and mentoring other staff groups.

The position involves daytime work Monday to Friday; we prefer that you are flexible and willing to rotate between our special care homes.

Occupational Therapist:

The work is conducted in consultation with the patient and/or relatives. The occupational therapist works based on the patient's health and life situation, individual wishes, needs, and conditions. Tasks may include prescribing aids and providing advice and collaboration when purchasing aids for the patient and the operation, collaborating with doctors and other staff in the operation, as well as assessing the patient's activity ability.

The position involves daytime work Monday to Friday; we prefer that you are flexible and willing to rotate between our special care homes.

Who are you?

You are a licensed nurse, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist, preferably with previous experience in elderly care or geriatrics. You have a genuine interest in working in elderly care. You are curious and engaged. You handle computers and digital systems without problems and express yourself well in speech and writing. You are used to working independently and can easily make your own decisions.
