Medical School

The Medical School has the ultimate responsibility for the training of the unit's internal personnel regarding care and treatment. The department consists of competent employees who together have the task of raising the medical competence for the entire unit.

Main Responsibilities

As an Instructor, you will work to train the unit's medical personnel with a focus on the care of the injured. You will be responsible for areas such as TOS (tactical care of combat casualties) and hypothermia training, as well as the implementation and planning of practical exercises. More concretely, you will work with:

• Material responsibility, procurement, and lending with associated inventory
• Pedagogical instruction in field conditions and classroom environments
• Control and evaluation of competence
• Participation in and execution of training activities

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• Have completed military service or basic military training with a position deemed suitable by the employer.
• Be a military or civilian nursing assistant
• Have experience working in an emergency care group or equivalent
• Hold a B driver's license, manual transmission
• Be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Previous employment as GSSK/T with a relevant position for the job
• Instructor in combat medicine
• Completed MTR-B
• Experience serving in a medical unit at a maneuver battalion.
• International service in recent years.

The Southern Skåne Regiment is also known as P 7. P stands for armor as the regiment primarily uses armored vehicles. We conduct basic military training for conscripts in ground combat, mechanized, and motorized combat supported by our main vehicles, which are: Stridsvagn 122, Stridsfordon 9040C, and Pansarterrängbil 360.

P 7 has full-time and part-time staff serving in their various positions nationally and internationally.
