About Villa Vikhem Villa Vikhem is a residence in the Vikhem area of Staffanstorp. The unit has three floors with two departments per floor. 40 places with a focus on special housing and 20 places for short-term/relief care. At Villa Vikhem, we focus on training and animals. We have the opportunity for training both indoors and outdoors. Those living in special housing have the opportunity to move in with their pet. We also collaborate with external actors and place great emphasis on ensuring that those living with us experience a meaningful everyday life, which may consist of arranged activities or a moment with their contact person.

About the role
You are the spider in the web regarding the residents' health and medical care efforts and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations.
Collaboration and support
You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life. In this, you work closely with the residence's group leaders who are responsible for the care staff. Our group leaders also coach and work together with the teams in daily operations.
Getting to know the residents
Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for accurate assessments and decisions.
Clear routines
To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is extensive support in the form of practical and easily applicable routines, governing documents, and checklists. Our quality management system is called Qualimax and is industry-leading.

Your experience and knowledge
You are a licensed nurse, and we prefer that you have worked for a few years in elderly care. Our residents are often multi-sick, which requires that you have both comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions and an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
