Åstorp is a beautifully located town close to both Söderåsen, the coast, and city life. Good bus and train connections make it easy to commute, and about half of our employees travel daily from places like Helsingborg and Ängelholm, which are just over twenty kilometers away. As of February, we merged our operations with Söderåsen, which will become a branch of the Åstorp Health Center. Together, we are about 60 employees with broad and solid expertise, where we strengthen each other and develop together. A health center under two roofs. We offer a medical clinic with specialists in general medicine, district nurse clinic, specialist clinics, dietitian, counselor, psychologist, and the family center that includes child health clinics (BVC). We also have a rehab team consisting of physiotherapists and occupational therapists as well as REKO.

We offer good accessibility with high quality and professional treatment. Our goal is to contribute to good health and quality of life for our patients. We achieve this by ensuring that they come into contact with the right person and receive the right care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for you who are a diabetes nurse or a licensed nurse who wishes to further educate yourself to become a diabetes nurse.

You will become an important part of our diabetes team and you will have significant responsibility for the unit's registered diabetics. You will work with regular tasks within the diabetes clinic in primary care, which includes both initial visits and follow-ups. You will also be offered to work with other commonly occurring tasks at a health center.

We have regularly scheduled time for meetings between the diabetes nurse and the diabetes responsible doctor for follow-up and development of care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare, preferably with further education in diabetes care. If you lack this competence, we see that you have the desire to educate yourself in the field. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working as a diabetes nurse and experience working in primary care.

Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement. If you have good language skills in English, this is considered an advantage for the position. You generally have good IT and system skills.

As a person, you have a good approach to patients, partners, and colleagues. You are good at planning and organizing your work as well as prioritizing. You always put the patient first and are a positive and social person who contributes to a good work environment. You work smoothly and can quickly change pace.
