Medical School

The Medical School has the ultimate responsibility for the training of the unit's internal personnel regarding care and treatment. The department consists of competent employees who together have the task of raising the medical competence for the entire unit.

Main Responsibilities

As a training nurse at the Medical School, you are responsible for conducting lectures, practical moments, and applied exercises in connection with the training of military and civilian personnel at various levels. You will have the opportunity to develop both personally and professionally. More concretely, you will work with:

• Competence development
• Planning and implementation of training moments
• Teaching in field conditions as well as classroom environments
• Control and evaluation of competence
• Medication management

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, you need to:

• Be a licensed nurse with experience deemed suitable by the employer
• Have previous teaching experience related to healthcare
• Hold a driver's license, manual transmission
• Be fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Military service or basic military training
• Previous employment as GSSK/T
• Completed MTR-B
• Completed MTR-A
• Experience in TCCC, blood transfusions, and emergency care
• Specialization in an area deemed suitable by the employer
• It is highly meritorious if you have previously worked with CBRN
• Experience of international service

The Southern Skåne Regiment is also known as P 7. P stands for armor as the regiment primarily uses armored vehicles. We conduct basic military training for conscripts in ground combat, mechanized and motorized combat with support from our main vehicles, which are: Stridsvagn 122, Stridsfordon 9040C, and Pansarterrängbil 360.

P 7 has full-time and part-time personnel serving in their various positions nationally and internationally.
