Our patients are primarily individuals with addiction issues and often have complex and extensive psychiatric comorbidities requiring psychiatric emergency care. The operation runs around the clock, and we currently have nine beds available.

With us, nurses and nursing assistants work in teams that form the core of the care work. Additionally, there are doctors, social workers, and medical secretaries in the department.

We have a high staff density in the department so that our operations are balanced in a well-functioning way. We offer shadowing with a mentor for four weeks upon employment to create security and a good introduction to the work in the department. We have close cooperation with other psychiatric wards in the clinic where opportunities for development, proximity to nursing colleagues, and competence are the focus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a nursing colleague who wants to join our fantastic team and drive the development of our department forward!

We work in care teams, where nurses and nursing assistants work side by side with mutual respect, collaboration, and patient focus. Daily planning is managed in close cooperation between nursing assistants, nurses, chief physicians, and patients.

The pace of work can sometimes be high, and taking significant personal responsibility is part of the daily work. Here it is about finding solutions, working with low-arousal responses, and caring for psychiatric care.

Working hours are scheduled for day/evening shifts with duty every third weekend.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to work within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. It is an advantage if you have specialist training in psychiatry. We prefer that you have previous experience in psychiatric care.

For us, it is important that you have an interest in psychiatry and our patients. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. As a person, we want you to have good organizational skills and work in a structured manner. Furthermore, we see that you have a positive attitude and the ability to handle a higher pace of work and see the same value in good interactions as we do. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
