Make a Difference. Every Day.

Are you a nurse looking to work in a team where the child's best interest is always at the center? Do you want to make a real difference for children, adolescents, and their families? Then apply to us at the Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Clinic in Malmö!

The Pediatric Medicine Area (VO) has about 700 employees and operates in both Malmö and Lund. We treat children and adolescents aged 0–18 years with diseases within pediatric medicine, based on a holistic view both medically, nursing-wise, psychologically, socially, special educationally, and humanistically.

Pediatric care can be described as a small hospital within the large one. Here, we have everything from the broad base, the common conditions that affect many, to the highly specialized care of children and adolescents with rare and severe diagnoses. We provide both acute and planned care, with hospital stays ranging from a few hours to sometimes several months. Here, well-being is as important as delivering work of the highest quality and best service. With us, you have the chance to make a significant difference, both for the families seeking care and for yourself and your colleagues.

Our work climate is characterized by joy, camaraderie, and professionalism, where we have the child at the center. We work in teams with pediatricians, pediatric nurses, nursing staff, paramedical, and administrative personnel. Everyone is engaged, and together we create the future for our patients and their families.

We work according to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and NOBAB (Nordic Association for the Needs of Sick Children) standards.
