At Örkelljunga Health Center, we have 20 employees from different professional categories and approximately 6,000 registered patients. Our patients have a high level of trust in us, often preferring to come here rather than call an ambulance. It is as close to rural medicine in Skåne as possible.

Here, we have specialist doctors in general medicine as well as ST and AT doctors working together in a well-organized medical office with support from nursing assistants and secretarial staff. We also have a nursing and district clinic for asthma/COPD, diabetes, elderly care, smoking cessation, blood pressure monitoring, and a family center with an associated child health clinic (BVC). Additionally, we have a very effective collaboration with our physiotherapy clinic.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an ST doctor with us, you will work with tasks commonly found in a health center. You will also have the opportunity to work with a well-established BVC, which currently has about 500 registered children. Since we are responsible for a special housing facility, you will also have the opportunity to take responsibility for one of these. Home healthcare with round work will be offered at the Health Center.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you as a licensed physician who has completed your AT or BT service with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language proficiency in Swedish at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is also a requirement.

As a person, you have good collaborative skills and enjoy working transprofessionally with other professional categories. We also see that you are flexible and engaged in your work. Furthermore, you have good empathy and understanding for the patient. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
