JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for substitutes who want to work at our Short-Term Care facility.

Short Care/Rickmansgården is a residence located in Ljungbyhed. Here, clients come temporarily from the hospital or home who need extra support/help, rehabilitation, and care.

As a staff member in short care, you will perform tasks that are covered by both the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act. In your role, you always focus on the individual, implementing the approved and prescribed interventions with a preventive, rehabilitative, and health-promoting approach.

You will meet several different clients with varying needs for help, rehabilitation, and care. You need to be secure in your professional role, curious, and enjoy adapting your work methods based on the individual needs of the clients.

Your working hours will vary over days and evenings, including weekdays and weekends. Working every other weekend is the norm in the municipality. Awake night shifts and journal nights occur in some positions.

Interviews and notifications for summer temporary positions will be ongoing, and we would like you to start working on an hourly basis now to continue with a longer summer temporary position.

QUALIFICATIONS

• It is an advantage if you have relevant education as a nursing assistant and/or previous experience in health and care.
• You have knowledge in personal care and can provide good and safe health and medical care based on the various care needs of the individual.
• You have good language skills in Swedish, which includes the ability to understand, speak, read, and write the Swedish used in healthcare.
• You have the ability to meet and converse with others in a pedagogical manner.
• You have a good ability to use technical equipment and aids.
• You need to be at least 18 years old.
• Since the workplace is located in Ljungbyhed, it is advantageous if you have a driver's license (B).

• You can absorb knowledge and feel confident in completing training and passing a knowledge test to receive medication and possibly insulin delegation.
• You are observant and accommodating in your interactions and have a good ability to adapt your approach to different people and situations.
• As there can be a high pace in short care at times, it is important that you are stress-resistant.
• Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
