HR Support at Region Gotland
At Region Gotland, you can develop and grow, both as an individual and together with others. When you work with us, you contribute to making Gotland an even better place for people in all walks of life. We make each other better.
HR Support
The HR department consists of an HR director, business developers, negotiation managers, staffing controllers, HR strategists, and two units: HR support and HR payroll.
In the HR support unit, we currently have about 20 employees, including HR specialists, recruiters, HR administrators, system administrators, system managers, and HR communicators. Our mission is to provide managers within Region Gotland with professional, consultative support in HR matters and to contribute with operationally relevant and qualitative HR support. We also work on developing and improving the HR organization's processes and actively participate in prioritized development and change projects.
Right now, we are driving several important development initiatives focusing on digitalization, transition, sustainable staffing, close managerial support, user-friendly system support, employee engagement, and leadership development. Our expertise is in high demand across the region's operations, and the mission is growing - therefore, we are now looking for a colleague who wants to help develop the future of HR support with us.
Region Gotland values a sustainable working method that creates conditions for engagement. One step in this work is to offer a more flexible view of where the work is performed. Our fundamental principle is a flexible workplace where employees can work both from home and in the office - always with the organization's mission and needs in focus.
Your Responsibilities
As part of HR support, you have a broad responsibility with many points of contact. You coordinate Region Gotland's participation in fairs and events, participate in the project group for Almedalsveckan's Meeting Point, and contribute to our employer brand communication - both internally and externally.
You also handle questions related to employee benefits, update and quality assure information on the region's intranet, and serve as a contact person for benefit bicycles. The role includes receiving inquiries about advertising vacant positions on social media and/or trade magazines. It also includes creating and publishing material in external channels, reviewing recruitment ads, and providing administrative support to the HR department, such as invoice review, handling and releasing documents, and protocol writing.
Who Are You?
We see that you have documented experience working with text, form, and layout in professional contexts and express yourself very well in both speech and writing. You are accustomed to working with digital tools and IT systems. You have an interest in how communication and digital solutions can contribute to effective and qualitative HR processes.
It is advantageous if you have education in communication, marketing, or HR, experience with HR systems, and knowledge of graphic programs such as InDesign and Adobe Express. We also view experience using AI tools in communication, recruitment, or administrative contexts positively.
We are looking for someone who is structured, self-driven, and enjoys a role with many points of contact and a varied assignment. You have a service-oriented and professional approach, enjoy collaborating with others, and have the ability to create good relationships. You work meticulously, can prioritize and create structure even when multiple tasks are ongoing simultaneously, and want to contribute to developing HR support and strengthening Region Gotland as an employer.
