The emergency department at NÄL is the largest in the Västra Götaland Region with approximately 70,000 visits per year, making us one of the largest in the country.

About the position

The emergency department is a workplace with great variation and changing work pace. As a nurse in the emergency department, you will work with specific care for patients with acute illness and/or injury requiring specialist care. We work with prioritization and assessments of patients based on a structured approach and focus on value-creating care for patients. The work includes making quick decisions and maintaining calm in stressful situations. The job offers you a wide variety and great development opportunities as no day is the same.

About you

We are looking for a registered nurse with an engaged and positive attitude. Experience in emergency care or being a specialist nurse in a relevant area is an advantage.

You have an interest in emergency care and are good at building relationships. You enjoy working in a team with other professional categories while being independent in your profession. You should be flexible and meet patients, relatives, and colleagues in a trustworthy and respectful manner.
