JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you the one who makes a difference in the everyday lives of patients? We are now looking for a nurse for our care home on Förstamajgatan. You will be part of the work group at our care homes and will belong to the Nordost district. As a nurse with us, you will have a stimulating and flexible job with a focus on personal responsibility, where you have the opportunity to influence.

Your main responsibilities include being responsible for the health and medical care needs of the patients. In this role, you will perform assessments based on the current health status and follow up on medical treatment and care interventions. As a nurse, you will have overall responsibility for the care of the patients you are responsible for. You will work independently, but also in a team. The patients’ health and medical care needs vary from preventive to advanced medical care.

You will work in a group that is experienced and highly competent. You will have colleagues in your team who are nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. Your work will also involve collaborating with care staff, doctors, and managers. In your role, you will guide the care staff and delegate tasks. Together, we create good and equitable care and ensure that the patient has an optimal living situation. The work primarily takes place during the day, but it also includes working shared on-call shifts, which means 5-6 evening shifts over 8 weeks and working every 4th weekend. During on-call hours, you will work with regular housing, BMSS, and care homes.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have a B driver's license. It is an advantage if you have experience in the profession, but we also welcome you who are newly graduated.

The position involves both a large amount of independent work and teamwork. Therefore, it is required that you understand the common mission, act accordingly, and contribute to the whole, while also being able to act and make decisions independently when the situation requires it. You have the ability to make judgments when you need to ask a colleague or find out more information. You use your time effectively and work systematically, organized, and methodically. You ensure that the work is completed and follow up on the results, together with the patient and relatives.
