As a test engineer, you will be part of a creative and highly qualified team specializing in testing products for the automotive industry. The technical center designs future head restraints and actuators for shift-by-wire transmission systems.

The position is located at our Technical Centre in Mullsjö, and you will report directly to the Validation Manager.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will test electromechanical and mechanical products for vehicles. You will plan, develop methods, and perform testing from component to system level. In the team, you will act as an expert in sound and vibrations but also conduct tests in other areas.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

We are looking for a qualified engineer with experience in sound and vibration testing and a strong interest in technology.

As a person, you have the ability to translate theory into practice. We are looking for someone who focuses on customer needs and sets high standards for quality. It is important that you have good collaboration skills and take the initiative to solve tasks. For the position, you must be meticulous and structured, and you should be able to express yourself fluently in English, both orally and in writing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Experience in sound and vibration testing
• Good language skills (oral and written) in English and Swedish
• Experience in environmental testing of mechatronic products and development environments such as LabView, Vector CANoe is a plus
