Responsibilities
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will have overall responsibility for sales to industrial customers in Sweden. The role combines advanced technical solution sales with business development and is suitable for you who want to work closely with customers, take significant personal responsibility, and drive complex deals to completion. You will be Delta's primary sales resource for the industrial segment and play a key role in the company's continued growth in the area.
The work includes both developing existing customer relationships and actively prospecting new customers. You will be responsible for the entire sales process, from early dialogue, needs analysis, and technical design of solutions to quotes, negotiations, and orders. The solutions are often customer-specific and based on Delta's portfolio in DC power, backup, and power supply systems for industrial and mission-critical applications where operational reliability is crucial.
The role involves close collaboration with internal technical resources, project organization, and international factories, while you are also expected to have sufficient technical breadth and depth to drive business independently. You are also an important link between the market and the organization by contributing customer insights, business forecasts, and market information.
Overall responsibility for industrial sales in Sweden
Development of new business and long-term customer relationships
Execution of the entire sales process in technically complex projects
Collaboration with internal and international resources to deliver the right solution to the customer
Education, experience, and personal qualities
• At least five years of experience in technical solution sales within the industrial segment, preferably with Swedish industrial companies or energy companies • Good technical understanding of electricity, power electronics, DC power, and/or power conversion • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written • Good system knowledge, preferably in SAP, CRM, and MS Office • B driver's license • Post-secondary education in electricity, electronics, mechanics, or similar is an advantage • It is strongly advantageous if you have experience with UPS, uninterruptible power, or critical infrastructure
