Embedded Software Developer – Take the next step in your embedded journey

Have you worked a few years in embedded development and feel ready to take the next step? Do you want to work in real product teams, with experienced colleagues and technology that is actually used? Then Tech Talents might be the right next step for you.

We are looking for Embedded Software Developers with approximately 1–5 years of experience for various assignments with our clients in the Gothenburg area. The assignments are long-term and technically challenging, providing you with the opportunity to build deep expertise in embedded systems while continuing to develop at your own pace.

About the role

As an embedded developer at Tech Talents, you will enter assignments where you already have a technical foundation to build on, but where you also have the opportunity to grow. You will work in teams alongside more experienced developers and contribute to both the implementation and further development of systems and products.

Depending on the assignment, you may work:

• close to hardware and firmware
• in real-time systems or Embedded Linux
• more application-oriented in the embedded software

You will become part of cross-functional teams where software, hardware, and systems meet, and where you can gradually take on more responsibility in the development chain – from design and implementation to testing and improvements.

Examples of what you can work on

• Development of software for embedded systems
• Programming in C and/or C++
• Debugging, testing, and verification
• Collaboration with hardware, testing, and systems
• Further development of existing codebases
• Participation in technical discussions and improvement efforts

We are looking for someone who

• Has approximately 1–5 years of experience in embedded development
• Has worked with C, C++, and/or related technologies
• Has a basic understanding of embedded systems and how software interacts with hardware
• Wants to continue developing and building deeper technical expertise
• Thrives in teams and enjoys learning from others

It is a plus (but absolutely not a requirement) if you have experience with:

• RTOS or Embedded Linux
• Python, scripts, or simple test automation
• CI/CD, build systems, or version control
• Regulated or technically complex environments
