The dermatology clinic in Gävle is located in the newly built Tullhuset just a few minutes' walk from the central station. We conduct both outpatient services and outpatient surgical operations and are a modern clinic that handles large patient flows. Here, around 40 employees work, including doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries, with the patient in focus. Together, we also actively work on development to meet future healthcare needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a medical secretary, you have a key role and are an important employee in the team to make the whole work. You manage healthcare documentation, registrations, and other administrative tasks. We work in the Cosmic journal system, which has recently been introduced throughout Region Gävleborg. Since the system is relatively new, you will have the opportunity to participate in an exciting journey where we explore the system's possibilities together and develop new and effective working methods.

Your main tasks

• medical documentation of, among other things, journal notes, letters, referrals, and certificates
• writing dictations
• handling mail and referrals.

This is a fixed-term employment for 6 months with the possibility of extension.
