About the Position

We at SJR are now looking for someone who wants to work as an accounting economist in a smaller finance department at our client located in Norduppland. If you want a stimulating job in an international company with a welcoming corporate culture where everyone helps each other, you might be the right person! This is initially a consulting assignment through us at SJR, with the ambition that you will transition to employment with the client in the long run if you both enjoy working together. The client applies a hybrid model, and you will work on-site 3 days a week.

Main Responsibilities

As a qualified accounting economist, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct and efficient management of the company's financial flows. The tasks include:

Closing: Independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Accounting: Responsible for ongoing accounting, including reconciliations and accruals.
Reporting: Prepare financial reports.
Tax and VAT: Handling of declarations, taxes, and VAT reporting according to applicable regulations.
Internal Processes: Develop and improve routines and processes within the finance department.

Suitable Background

You have an academic degree in finance or a KY education or equivalent work experience and feel confident in accounting. Furthermore, you are a structured, meticulous, and analytical person with a good ability to prioritize and work independently. It is an advantage if you have experience with a larger financial system.
