Ready for a new challenge? We are hiring an SQE for Components in Ludvika, Hitachi Energy Sweden!

You will be part of a small but growing team. To succeed in this role, you need to have good communication and organizational skills as you will act as a link between various internal departments such as SCM, Engineering, and Quality.

A key part of the role is to ensure our customer satisfaction by qualifying new suppliers and conducting audits on existing suppliers to ensure our supply chain.

You have a driver's license and a willingness to travel both locally and globally.

Your Responsibilities

  • Qualify new suppliers and reassess the existing supplier base by performing audits.
  • Lead the process of resolving deviations with suppliers during escalated technical issues and ensure effective root cause analysis and actions.
  • Monitor and consolidate supplier delivery and quality KPIs.
  • Develop our quality processes towards our supplier base.
  • Ensure that we work proactively with our suppliers to ensure that we receive the right quality of the materials we purchase.
  • Be responsible for driving our outcome tests (PPAP).

Your Background

  • You have experience or education in quality, supply, manufacturing production, or materials science.
  • Relevant experience in quality work within the manufacturing industry and/or experience in supplier relations.
  • Good understanding of quality and continuous improvement methods (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, 5Why, A3, Poka-Yoke) and practical experience in technical problem-solving.
  • Experience in process audits and Statistical Process Control.
  • Familiarity with ISO-9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards is a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma training and certification is an advantage.
  • Material knowledge in metals, plastics, and composites is a plus.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
