We are looking for several controllers with experience in working with bids/proposals for HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current), which is a product group within Hitachi Energy. We offer you an interesting and challenging role in an international, dynamic, and positive work environment. In your role, you will work closely with the bid and sales managers. You will be responsible for ensuring quality in the financial aspects of several bids by preparing financial analyses, compiling the cost structure that you will later convert into a customer price, and providing recommendations on how we can optimize the financial parts. This position is located in either Ludvika or Västerås.

How You Will Contribute

  • Ensure your own compliance with both the company's processes and guidelines as well as the laws and regulations of the relevant countries.
  • Compile the total cost structure of the bid with input from several departments and functions and then convert it into a customer price.
  • Compile the total cash flow and settlement plan based on input from the planning department, cost input, and payment terms.
  • Support the bid and sales manager in compiling the bid's risks and associated risk provisions.
  • Identify and suggest actions to mitigate potential risks related to tax setup, cash flow, currency exposure, and inflation by looking at areas such as payment securities, currency clauses, currency baskets, indices, etc.

Your Background

  • We see that you have relevant industry experience in a similar or equivalent field.
  • Financial knowledge with a degree in economics as a basic qualification.
  • It is an advantage if you have many years of experience as a project and/or bid controller.
  • You have the ability to consolidate large amounts of data and present it clearly and pedagogically to management.
  • Act responsibly in terms of integrity, transparency, and safety.
