The position is located at the Community Unit, Älvdalen municipality.

At the Community Unit, we work with physical planning, building permits, environmental issues, development, traffic planning, and the management of streets and roads, parks, and other land.

Job responsibilities for a land and development engineer

As a land and development engineer, you will contribute to achieving the municipality's visions and goals by developing the municipality's strategic land holdings through property purchases, land sales, and management. In the role of project manager for the implementation of the municipality's land allocation and development processes, you will be an important participant in the work of creating a community that is good for citizens and businesses.

You will work both independently and together with colleagues in the unit and have close cooperation with other municipal administrations and municipal companies. You will also present cases to the municipal board. Collaboration and contacts with politicians and external actors such as builders, developers, property owners, and utility owners are important parts of your work.

Who are we looking for?

To thrive in this role, you should be proactive, results-oriented, and able to collaborate with others, both colleagues and external actors. You are structured and work effectively with complex issues. We also expect that you are educated or soon to graduate as a surveyor or have other relevant education. You may also have acquired your knowledge through work in the field.

You should be able to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Good to know

Since the position involves travel, a B driver's license is required.

Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. Initial interviews may be conducted digitally. Start date will be agreed upon.
